As a mother of two boys, she found the practice when her children were young and started to experience balance in a turbulent life. Yoga became the vital tool that allowed her to navigate and heal from trauma—stemming from childhood into adulthood—that she had previously suppressed through alcohol. This journey of healing is anchored by her sobriety, which she has maintained with integrity since September 2017.
Life, she believes, is filled with moments—some joyful, some challenging—that ask us to slow down, feel, and grow. Over the years, she’s come to see every experience not as good or bad, but as a lesson—an opportunity to meet ourselves more fully.
